No Impact Expected In Dubai From Mekunu

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has advised residents in the UAE there is little chance of tropical storm Mekunu hitting Dubai and residents should verify any reports of change in weather through official resources.

NCM has confirmed that the UAE will not be directly affected by the storm, however the impact on the country will be limited to scattered rain in the eastern and southern regions.

The storms are predicted to hit the coastlines of Oman and Yemen.

According to the NCM weather report, the next few days will be hazy and partly cloudy at times over some areas until Monday. The sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.
