Dust Storm Covers Dubai

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has warned residents to take extra care if they are going for outdoor activities such as swimming, as it is predicted that dust and poor visibility will affect parts of the UAE, throughout today on Thursday,10 May from 5:00am to 6.30pm. The NCM also warned that the sea will be rough around the Arabian Gulf offshore areas, especially western areas.

NCM also issued a warning that at times the visibility can be less than 2,000 metres as dust is expected to be scattered over most of the coastal and internal areas of the UAE.

In its daily weather report, NCM reported that the weather will be partly cloudy and dusty in general, with a chance of isolated showers over the eastern area.

Minimum temperatures recorded will range from 23° to 26°.
