Private sector employees are set to have a three-day weekend next week.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) have announced today that the holiday for private sector employees will be from Thursday 30 November to Saturday 2 December with work starting again on Sunday 3 December.
Earlier in the week, it was announced that public sector employees will be off from 30 November to Sunday 3 December. Work resumes on Monday 4 December.
MOHRE posted this on their Twitter page earlier today
“It was decided that the employees of the private sector establishments, establishments and companies on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet and the day of the martyr and the national day, from November 30 to December 2, should resume work on the third day of the same month.”
