In celebration of empowered women around the globe, more than 150 like-minded female leaders will participate in the global mentoring walk on Saturday 11th March at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club in the city from 7am to 10am. 137 walks will happen on the same day around the world to mark the occasion of International Women’s day.
Organised by the popular female entrepreneur’s platform Mompreneur Middle East, The Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk is an opportunity to highlight the importance of women's leadership, and to accelerate the impact of women leaders through mentoring.
The annual mentoring walk brings together established women leaders and emerging women leaders to walk together in their community. As they walk, they discuss their professional challenges and successes and establish a mentoring relationship in which the seasoned leader guides, advises and supports her peers.
Starting in 2008, the Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk has taken place every year in over 50 countries in celebration of International Women’s Day. Thousands of women from across the globe gather in their own communities to participate in the Walk.
