Dry, dehydrated, dull and tired - yes, that pretty much summed up me and my skin! It was time for a facial and a bit of relaxation and the 430-square-metre Shine Spa at Sheraton Mall of the Emirates offers both in their beautiful city centre surroundings. Make sure you get there in time to enjoy the facilities, including a steam shower, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and rain showers.
What’s involved?
This facial tackles fine lines and wrinkles with the age-defying benefits of marine-charged Padina Pavonica and Red Coral, whilst the targeted massage encourages optimum cellular function. My therapist cleansed, toned, applied masks and gave me a wonderful face and hand massage.
What are the results?
I had actually chosen another facial but switched at my therapist’s suggestion based on my skin’s needs, and I was very glad I did. Gone was the feeling of tightness, irritation and the redness. My skin felt softer, more hydrated and calmer. It also looked nourished, brighter and the fine lines and wrinkles were plumped up. Absolutely lovely!
