Review: Eminence facial and Zoya polishes at Casa Havana

Casa Havana Beauty Salon is a new Cuban inspired beauty salon, with a rich and vibrant interior that whisks you straight into a scene from Havana Nights! It’s a recreation of traditional Latin beauty parlour’s with a variety of services on offer including a large hair and blow dry room, manicures, pedicures, waxing and spa treatments.

What’s involved?

I checked out the Eminence Organic Skin Care Balance Facial. Designed for combination skin, this multi-action treatment contains innovative ingredients. The Buchu leaf extract, charcoal and willow bark are designed to deep clean and refine pores in the T-Zone, while rice milk and shea butter deeply moisturise dry areas - intensified by the antioxidant powers of pomelo juice, green tea and bamboo leaf extract, and I finished off my treatment with a classic mani/pedi with Zoya Nail polishes. Zoya gives the longest wearing, most natural nail polish available. It is toluene, formaldehyde, DBP and Camphor Free.

What are the results?

The facial was fantastic and left my skin feeling cool, clean and deeply hydrated. The Zoya polishes gave a great colour, that lasted really well, and I simply loved the décor and feel of the salon!

How much?

The Balance Facial is priced at Dhs 450 and the mani/pedi at Dhs 75 and Dhs 90. The salon also offers excellent membership packages and a loyalty programme.

Casa Havana is located at Villa 892, Al Wasl Road call 04-3215757 or email info@casahavanasalon.com. -L.C.
